Becky Albeke

“I believe that to truly be complete, one must create. This urge to create takes many forms; I use non-toxic acrylic paints to produce my works of art. Most recently I have had an emphasis on re-purposed pieces as well as mixed media. This process of creativity is a spiritual one for me, where I feel most at one with our world. It is my hope that my art touch your heart and bring a smile to your life.”

Becky’s artistic journey has included over 25 years of acrylic painting, along with nearly 20 years of teaching painting techniques. She has taken part in several local art events, including Oregon City Art Walks, Open Studios of Beavercreek, First City Celebration, Art in the Windows, and First Thursday Art Walk in Portland. Becky’s art has won awards at art shows, county fairs and the Oregon State Fair, as well as at regional painting conventions. Her work has been shown at the End of the Trail Gallery, Grapevine Gallery and the Three Rivers’ Art Guild Gallery. Becky most recently has been painting with a whimsical style on re-purposed items and exploring mixed media.
