My works are created using felt tipped and gel ink pens. As a young child I would draw both simple and complex lines around an object. This later grew into a fascination with symmetry and the everyday fractals found in nature. Each piece is a process starting with a single shape; be it a dot, heart, spiral or whatever my mind desires. From there I radiate outward; merging and creating patterns, one line, dot and mark at a time. Each piece is free hand; a ruler to mark long straight lines, pencil to mark the basic shape I wish to emerge, and my mind to see patterns emerge as symmetrical as possible.
