I implement techniques from both digital and physical visual mediums to embrace and to embody emotions and behaviors that ultimately define humanity. Intent on pursuing understanding, whether it be through abstraction or direct assertion of subject matter my standoffish articulations spawn from impulse and viscerality. Where there exists understanding in my work, tangents of eccentricity, confusion, radicalized behavior, and a means of coping linger. What matters most to me is not perfection, but imperfection, not function, but malfunction, not sanity, but insanity. For even life itself was once merely an accident, a mutation, a mistake, which has brought each and everyone of us to the apex of consciousness. That imperfection is one of life’s dearest virtues. I choose to revel in that which makes life truly beautiful.
