In my painting I am inspired by textures, patterns and color of the natural world of plants and often their relationship to the animals and birds that become part of their life cycle. I explore the minute details of their growth from seedlings to decay.

Change and aesthetic beauty can be expressed in every part of the composition.

I live in the Columbia Gorge and travel often, collecting inspiration from the places I travel.
